The dominating elements of this exhibition concept are three room-filling textile lighting elements. Extending downwards from the existing skylights of the warehouse, they direct light into the exhibition space and form a landscape of illumination. Embedded in the scene are the exhibition pieces from Swiss furniture manufacturer WOGG. Textile elements are the ubiquitous focus here, serving as the inspiration for the installation: the backdrop is provided by the rolled-up rugs stored on the shelves. The round shape of the rolled-up rugs is echoed in the ring-shaped edges of the light elements. The furniture is also clad in fabric. The upholstery covers for the chairs are removable. Like clothes, they are waiting to be tried on.
