ZKB ErlebnisGarten park
In 2020, Zürcher Kantonalbank celebrated its 150th anniversary. The centrepiece of the activities is the 14,000 square metre ErlebnisGarten park for the population on the Landiwiese.
A diverse, cultural programme was planned in the sustainable park landscape with an observation tower, a hanging garden, picnic and work areas, gastronomy, a concert stage and a time travel pavilion. Enjoying, working or learning together: The ErlebnisGarten - a place of encounter with an exhibition, gastronomic and cultural offerings and playful facilities.
Due to the pandemic situation, the celebrations in spring 2020 were first postponed to 2021 and with a heavy heart had to be cancelled for 2021 as well.
Nevertheless, in order to offer the population a recreational space instead of a closed-off construction site in summer 2020, part of the site was provisionally completed. We attach great importance to sustainability: the materials used are given a second life. The pavilions will also be integrated into the Theatre Spectacle 2020 and 2021.
