An Example of Sustainability and a Fruitful Collaboration.

The frame of this light chair is made of recycled aluminum, like all furniture from Lehni. This maker of famous design classics has always relied on manufacturing that focuses on saving resources. This gave us the idea of working with Qwstion for the seat covering. For their trendy bags, the company developed a compostable fabric called Bananatex.® The fabric’s strong fibers are obtained from the stems of banana plants. Ensō—the word is the Japanese term for circle or cycle—was given a seat covering made of Bananatex® that is sturdy, supple, and recyclable.

The light chair is stackable and can be used indoors and outdoors. The aluminum frames are available anodized as colorless, bronze, or black, the seat coverings are available in the colors limestone, gravel, and black, resulting in a total of nine different combinations.
