The interdisciplinary collaboration between architecture and engineering, combined with modern knowledge management, has made ATP the leading European office for integrated design.

With more than 1,500 employees across 14 locations in the DACH and CEE regions, ATP designs projects for clients in the research & production, retail, real estate, and healthcare sectors, supported by in-house research, specialized planning, and consulting companies.

Pioneering Integrated Design with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
Integrated design is the foundation for exemplary quality and the reduction of waste in planning, construction, and operation. It is the key to sustainable, resource-efficient buildings. ATP has been practicing integrated design for 49 years and has applied BIM across all projects since 2012.

ATP’s integrated design approach is the result of decades of interdisciplinary collaboration. Unlike conventional, sequential planning processes, it fully leverages BIM to enhance long-term design quality. The company’s corporate structure fosters continuous learning through cross-disciplinary and cross-location knowledge sharing.

The Future is Green
ATP integrates expertise in order to plan and realize construction projects in line with the European Green Deal and the goal of CO₂ neutrality. Its efficient processes reduce unnecessary resource consumption and increase sustainability in construction.

Verticalization: Consulting, Project Management, Procurement, EPCM
ATP expands its service portfolio with specialized expertise. Consulting firms focusing on sustainability, process engineering, and real estate development assess the requirements and feasibility of construction measures even before the planning phase. A target value design process defines procurement quality to ensure a viable project strategy.
The first phase of integrated design then ensures sustainable utilization. An interdisciplinary team comprising architecture, structural engineering, building services, and site supervision experts collaborates throughout the planning and construction phases until the handover to facility management. ATP standardizes core planning processes, ensuring efficient task distribution while maintaining consistently high quality.
With EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management), ATP assumes full responsibility for project development, planning, and execution – allowing clients to focus on their core business.

Career and Partnership
ATP offers a range of career opportunities to architects and engineers. Its offices and the ATP Academy provide specialized expertise and foster professional development. Established in 1990, the ATP partnership includes seven partners, 47 associate partners, and 94 associates, involving employees in corporate decision-making and sharing business success.

Research and Education
ATP collaborates closely with TU Wien and other universities and technical colleges, actively contributing to scientific research into integrated design and BIM. The company is a founding member of DGNB, ÖGNI, IG Lebenszyklus, and Madaster.
